This roadmap outlines the planned features, progress, and release details for eSignet throughout the calendar year 2025.

The quarters are defined as follows:

• Q1: Jan'25 – Mar'25

Vision

We aim to evolve eSignet into a versatile, secure, and future-ready platform to support diverse identity verification use cases. Below are the key milestones for eSignet's development from 2025 to 2026:

• Q1 2025: Introduce configurable user consent, allowing external parties to enable or disable consent management. Develop a solution for obtaining user consent when disabled externally.

• Q2 2025: Add support for multiple plugins to enhance integration and authenticate with any ID system.

• Q3 2025: Upgrade the platform from Java 11 to Java 21 for better performance and security.

• Q4 2025: Implement identity brokering for seamless integration with external identity providers, ensuring secure user authentication.

• 2025 and Beyond: Focus on transforming eSignet into an advanced eKYC verifier. This includes leveraging plugins for ID verification with OIDC providers via web or mobile wallets, helping businesses comply with regulatory standards, and improving onboarding.
